Global Governance Services Limited provides governance advice to companies. Chris was formerly Director of Professional Standards and Professional Development at the Institute of Directors in the UK. Prior to joining the IoD he was the Director of the Centre for Director Education at Leeds Business School. He holds a number of Board appointments.

Chris has published widely in the field of corporate governance. His latest book is entitled "A Handbook on International Corporate Governance" and was published in December 2004. Chris specialises in training trainers, Director training and development, Board evaluation methods and processes for improving Board effectiveness.

Chris has played a major role in developing the professionalism of Directors in the UK and internationally over the last 15 years and has facilitated Director and Board development activities in Brazil, Chile, Egypt, France, Japan, Poland, Russia, Spain, Singapore, Turkey, UK, USA and the West Indies.
